Overview
Upcoming company catalysts for all US-listed companies: earnings dates, FDA PDUFA dates, clinical trial readouts, deal closings, financings, compliance deadlines and more. Each catalyst is extracted from an SEC filing or news item and comes with an expected date window, a sentiment, a short AI-written summary and a link to the source. Coverage starts January 1, 2026 and updates every 2 hours.
When to use
- Building an event calendar for a watchlist ("what is coming up for these tickers?").
- Screening for specific event types, e.g. every PDUFA date or trial readout next month.
- Flagging negative events such as offerings, reverse splits or exchange compliance deadlines.
- Keeping a local copy in sync with
updated_since.
Key parameters
upcoming—trueby default, so only catalysts whose window has not fully passed are returned. Setfalseto include past catalysts.date_from/date_to— return catalysts whose window overlaps that range, and either one works alone. A catalyst windowed "Q4 2026" (Oct 1 – Dec 31) shows up in a search for November 2026. For an exact day, pass the same date as both. Future dates are allowed.catalyst_type— comma-separated list of types (see table below).min_confidence—highreturns only high-confidence rows, mediumreturns high and medium, lowreturns everything.min_market_cap/max_market_cap— rows without a market cap (about 8%) are excluded when either is set.ticker,sector,exchange,country,form_type— comma-separated lists, exact match.updated_since— ISO 8601 timestamp; rows changed after it. A timestamp without an offset is read as EST (-05:00), the same offset every response timestamp uses.q— case-insensitive keyword match onsummary.
Results are sorted by window_start, soonest first.
Response highlights
catalyst_id— stable ID; it stays the same when the row is updated.catalyst_type,sentiment(positive/negative),summary,confidence(high/medium/low).window_start,window_end— expected date window.
