Overview

Every outstanding warrant tranche and convertible note/debt instrument AskEdgar has parsed from a ticker's filings. Both are latent share supply — warrants create shares when exercised; convertibles create shares when converted.

When to use

  • Modeling fully-diluted share count.
  • Spotting near-the-money warrant tranches likely to be exercised on a price spike.
  • Tracking remaining convertible debt that could pressure the float.

Key parameters

  • ticker (required) — single symbol.

Response highlights

Results are a mixed list of Warrant and Convertible objects — distinguish them by the fields present:

Warrants:

  • warrants_amount, warrants_remaining, warrants_exercise_price, prefunded_cost (pre-funded warrants are near-certain to exercise).
  • exercisable_date, expiration_date, registered.

Convertibles:

  • conversion_price, offering_amount, convertible_debt_remaining, underlying_shares_remaining.
  • convertible_date, maturity_date, registered.

Notes

  • warrants_exercise_price is included even when 0 — only null values are dropped.
  • Fund-ownership, bank-of-record, and price-protection details live on the enterprise-tier Dilution Data — Funds & Underwriters endpoint.
